電橋的設(shè)計與開發(fā)應(yīng)基于優(yōu)利用整個功率范圍的理念。要大程度上降低二氧化碳排放，需要較小速比，這樣48V電橋的區(qū)域和大功率都可以在一個較寬的車速范圍內(nèi)為電動巡航與能量回收所利用。   同時，車輛需要在0-15km/h車速范圍內(nèi)具有高軸荷扭矩，因此需要大速比。對于駕駛員來說這是在不降低駕駛舒適性的前提下，在車輛加速時體驗純電的駕駛樂趣的方法。   因此集成一個兩檔變速箱到電橋當中是有必要的。相對于單檔電橋，兩檔電橋具有以下優(yōu)點：

采用一檔的大速比可以實現(xiàn)的加速性能和爬坡能力

采用二檔的小速比可以提高高車速和拓寬車速范圍

更低的電機運行轉(zhuǎn)速，的NVH

電機可小型化

更大的區(qū)域和更高的綜合運行效率，可采用更小的電池容量或者提高純電續(xù)航里程
