IC200ALG262 is a 15 bit differential current module with eight channels from GE Versamax. The analog input module provides an interface to connect eight analog current inputs that receive power from the backplane power supply. This means that the module does not require external power supply for operation. However, the user's transceiver requires external power supply.

IC200ALG262 has a set of eight differential input channels and a 15 bit converter resolution. The CPU or NIU performs intelligent processing on the local machine, and the module provides 8 words of analog input data. The device reports on-site circuit power outage faults and open circuit faults for each channel, but is limited to 4-20mA mode. The jumper on the carrier terminal can be used to configure this range or 0-20mA input range as needed, or the lack of jumper will allow the module to use the 4-20mA range. In addition, LED lights indicate power and normal operation.

When installing the IC200ALG262 module for the first time, please carefully check all components for damage. Do not use damaged components as this may affect overall functionality. Analog channel connections shall be created using shielded twisted pair cables, which are grounded at the source equipment. However, if it is not possible to ground at the power supply, grounding at the I/O module is appropriate and can be achieved using auxiliary I/O terminals. If this option is used, a shielded connection can be made on the auxiliary I/O terminal connected to the I/O carrier. If additional connections are required, auxiliary I/O terminal strips can be used.
