所有卡件都可以采用冗余或非冗余配置，這些卡件可以安裝在FCU單元或NIU上的任何一個I/O卡槽上，但冗余配置的卡件安裝在同一NIU或FCU單元上的相鄰I/O卡槽上（前一卡件安裝在奇數(shù)卡槽上，后一卡件安裝在相鄰偶數(shù)卡槽上）。

除串口通訊卡件外，所有的I/O卡件通過橫河的系統(tǒng)電纜連接到其相對應的端子板上，現(xiàn)場儀表及設(shè)備信號也接到相應的端子板上。串口通訊卡件和子系統(tǒng)間直接用通訊電纜連接，它們之間不需要端子板。

All cards can adopt redundant or non redundant configurations, and these cards can be installed on any I/O card slot on the FCU unit or NIU. However, cards with redundant configurations must be installed on adjacent I/O card slots on the same NIU or FCU unit (the previous card is installed on an odd number card slot, and the latter card is installed on adjacent even number card slots).

Except for serial communication cards, all I/O cards are connected to their corresponding terminal boards through Yokogawa dedicated system cables, and on-site instrument and equipment signals are also connected to the corresponding terminal boards. The serial communication card is directly connected to the subsystem through a communication cable, and there is no need for a terminal board between them.
