A16B-2201-0391為使交流伺服電機具有控制信號消失，立即停止轉動的功能，把它的轉子電阻做得特別大，使它的臨界轉差率Sk大于1。在電機運行過程中，如果控制信號降為“零”，勵磁電流仍然存在，氣隙中產(chǎn)生一個脈動磁場，此脈動磁場可視為正向旋轉磁場和反向旋轉磁場的合成。圖3-13畫出正向及反向旋轉磁場切割轉子導體后產(chǎn)生的力矩一轉速特性曲線，以及它們的合成特性曲線。假設電動機原來在單一正向旋轉磁場的帶動下運行于A點，此時負載力矩是。一旦控制信號消失，氣隙磁場轉化為脈動磁場，它可視為正向旋轉磁場和反向旋轉磁場的合成，電機即按合成特性曲線3運行。由于轉子的慣性，運行點由A點移到B點，此時電動機產(chǎn)生了一個與轉子原來轉動方向相反的制動力矩。在負載力矩和制動力矩的作用下使轉子迅速停止。
